• Set password to access your network,
• Turn on WPA/WEP encryption. This ensures that data pacjets between you PC/laptop and an access point is not readable.
• If possible set PEAP authentication
  
• Change default admin passwords for access points.
• Enable MAC address filter. Each wireless device (wi-fi or bluetooth) has a unique MAC address (for eg 00-00-00-00-00-00), by giving access to selected MAC address, you can stop the unauthorized access of your wireless network.
• Disable the SSID broadcast. You will know that there is a network, but other can't find it..
• If possible, turn off the access point, if you are not using the internet.
• Weekly monitor usage of the access point and check if there is unauthorized access.

Immediately report the cyber police if you find that something is wrong, it might be possible that your wireless might be used for something which is against law, like drug selling, hacking other PCs, web servers or might be sending mails for terrorist activities.

Google Chrome, lighter and faster web browser but no google toolbar for chrome

When I saw the "New! Download Chrome (BETA) - the new browser from Google" I was very excited and downloaded it.

Just think gtalk, so light application and very simple to use.

With me experience, its faster than IE, Firefox and lighter also, does not consume as much as mery as firefox.

Just for review the memory, I run same web applications with google chrome and mozilla firefox, chorome usage different executables for each tab. It means, if you have having five tabs open you can see multiple chrome application running if your task manager. Overall chrome usage less memory than firefox.

It also gives you direct access to recent and most visited web pages, recent bookmarks, Recently closed tabs along with direct access to search history and google search.

Unfortunately it is in Beta phase, no release for linux or mac. And finaly, not offline installer. This version is mainly for developes. I think we have to wait for some time for its full relase.
