I think most of you are already using yahoo voice services, it is nothing but calling thorough yahoo messenger, it is very famous among Indians as yahoo offered total free calling on Diwali and Holi.
But most of you using this service does not know that yahoo also offers Free calls to USA based toll free numbers. If you want to call any of the toll free numbers,
What you need to do?
1. Download the yahoo messenger
2. Buy some credits through yahoo voice
3. Start making toll free calls for free.
Yahoo used to give 100 free friend minutes, but recently it stopped this offer. So you can not try this service. But if you have to call toll free number, then this is the only solution to call for free.
Please note that Yahoo does not offer access to 911 and other emergency service numbers through Yahoo! Messenger or Yahoo! Voice
Does this still work ? I want to call a 1-888 number in the US. Also you recommend buying some credits, not quite clear how much credits should I buy. It's kinda counter intuitive since you are claiming that toll free calls can be made for free, that makes the buying of credits all the more confusing. If you could explain the logic, I'll appreciate that.
