A young BJP leader Varun Gandhi, grand grand son of Pt J L Nehru was caught delivering an Antimuslim hate speech in Pilibhit.

'बड़े डरावने नाम होते हैं, करिमुल्लाह , नज़रुल्लाह| अगर रात को कोई दिख जाए तो डर है | मेरी एक बहन है, सगी बहन नहीं, मौसी की लड़की है, एक पम्पलेट छ्पा था जिसमे सारे प्रत्याशियों का फोटो छपा हुआ है हमारे पास जो उम्मीदवारों की जो लिस्ट है, उस पर सभी दलों के प्रत्याशियों के फोटो लगे हैं। समाजवादी पार्टी के उम्मीदवार की तस्वीर देखकर मेरी मौसी की बेटी ने कहा कि भैया मुझे नहीं पता था कि आपके खिलाफ ओसाम बिन लादेन चुनाव लड़ रहा है।'

When my cousin who is seven-eight years old, saw Samajwadi Party's candidate's photo, she said Bhaiya (big brother), I didn't know that Osama Bin Laden is fighting from your constituency," 

'यह हाथ नहीं है। यह कमल है। यह मुसलमानों का सर काट देगा, जय श्रीराम।' एक अन्य सभा में उन्होंने कहा, 'अगर कोई हिंदुओं की तरफ उंगली उठाएगा या समझेगा कि  नहीं हैं, अगर कोई सोचता है कि ये नेता वोटों के लिए हमारे जूते चाटेंगे तो मैं गीता की कसम खाकर कहता हूं कि मैं उस हाथ को काट डालूंगा|

"This is not a hand, this is the power of the lotus. This will cut the head of the Muslim. Jai Shri Ram. If anyone raises a finger towards Hindus, or if someone thinks that Hindus are weak and leaderless.if someone thinks that these leaders lick our boots for our votes if anyone raises a finger towards Hindus - then I swear on the Gita that I will cut that hand,"
