Newly built Bandra worli sea link (Rajiv Bridge Mumbai) areal view

The newly constructed Bandra worli sea link (Rajiv setu) was recently inaugurated and opened to the common public on 1st July 2009. It was very well discussed in media about its capability and 8 lanes where two would be dedicated to BEST buses. The day I saw the first video on YouTube, I was wondering that bridge is not fully constructed, only 4 lanes are ready and rest are under construction. Well, opening 4 lanes could give little bit relief to the commuters. But I do not understand why media has hidden this fact that only four lanes are constructed and other four lanes would take years to construct.

The bridge is open to public for the first few days, and then you have to pay Rs. 50.00 ($1.00) for one way and Rs. 75.00 ($1.60) for both ways.

The Google maps is not updated with the geographical view of this bridge.

However you can watch the areal view video on you tube which was uploaded by TV9 Mumbai which was taken from helicopter, so you can feel how this bridge could look if you see from sky or from aeroplane.
