Germany Schengen Visa remarks

You have recently got a German business or visitors visa (Type C), you should have seen some remarks in German.


The english meaning of such remarks are as follows

besuchs -/ geschäftsvisum : visit - / business visa

erwerbstätigkeit nicht gestattet : gainful employment not permitted

öffentliches interesse : public interest

    Hi Vicky,
    I need to add my spouse name as my surname and want to change my address to spouse address. now which the PP am having as no surname. I am looking to know all documents which i need to arrange. Please let me know.
    Also, do my hhusband also need to get my name added in the PP and is this required a seperate application, What are the docs required for this.

    Me and my wife are residing in Oman working here I wanted to add my wife name in my passport what is the procedure to be followed my marriage certificate is attested by notary and home dept of Maharastra and consulate of Oman in Mumbai too, we r from Karnataka state can u give ur valuable suggestion to complete the procedure, Thanking you in advance....

    Hi Vicky
    I had applied for a passport on 2013,but it was rejected due to failure in police verification.
    Can u please suggest me that if i again apply for new password any problem instead of applying with same ref number

    I need to add my spouse name on my passport.But we dont have marrige certifiacte.and how can we fill annexure D and where well get it.can you please update me on this.do i need my husbands passport for this.can you please suggest me

    Hi Vikas,

    I am in USA and My spouse is in INDIA.She has to change her Last name as mine(as she married) and needs to add My name in her Pass Port(Endorsed(Because we need to apply PP for our new baby)).

    Q1) Can she do both the things (adding my name in her PP and changing her last name as my last name) ?

    Q2)In order to do that Marriage certificate is enough or my passport is also needed for that ?

    Q3)She has valid h4 visa stammped in that PP, if she get's new one, again does she need stamping on new PP or old will be good.

    Q4) How much time will it take for all these.

      1. Yes both can be done
      2. Marriage certificate and Annex D

      3. Not required, she can travel with both the passports together, but please check with US emabssy.

    This is with respect to my wife's VISA which i am applying to Italy (Long term D type)
    i am having couple of query with the regard to the VISA checklist.Please find the query below and guide me accordingly so that i can proceed further

    Spouse Name as per Passport: Kalyani Amith Vikram Megaravalli
    Name as per Nulla Osta : Kalyani Amith Vikram Megaravalli
    Name as per Marriage Certificate: Kalyani KV (Maiden Name, before marriage her name as per the certificates and ID card issued by Government of Karnataka and India)

    Please let me know is it fine, or is there any additional document required.

    Hello,

    I am staying in Muscat, Oman and my wife in krishnagiri.

    I took passport before my marriage but my wife took after marriage so spouse name added in my wife passport.

    SO currently plan to add my wife name in my passport enable to take passport for my child.

    Please assist the procedure
