Byomkesh Bakshi Episodes

The great detective serial of its time, Byomkesh Bakshi, directed by Basu Chatterjee in 1993, featuring Rajit Kapoor as Byomekesh Baksh, K.K. Raina as Ajit and was telecasted in Hindi on Doordarshan. I still remeber glimpses of teh episodes which I saw in my childhood. I saw again all the available episodes and really enjoyed it.

Months after the shoe thrown at US President George Bush, an angry sikh journalist Jarnail Singh flung a shoe at Indian Home Minister P. Chidambaram during a press conference in New Delhi on Tuesday (07 April 2009). Jarnail singh was protesting against Congress leader Jagdish Tytler being given a clean chit over his alleged role in the 1984 anti Sikh riots. The shoe, however, missed the target. Being a clever polititian and looking upcoming general election 2009, Chidambaram and cogress party did not loose the control and did not plan to file complaint against this journalist.
