You might be knowing that the default setting for e Skype History is forever, it means that every chat you do is stored into your PC. This could lead to a privacy related issue if someone else look at your history.

Please follow these steps To clear chat history in Skype
1. Login to your account.
2. Go to Tools>>Options>>Privacy>>Privacy Settings>>Show advanced options
3. Now click on the Clear history, now you will not be able to see history anymore.
To disable chat history,
1. Login to your account.
2. Go to Tools>>Options>>Privacy>>Privacy Settings>>Show advanced options
3. look for "Keep History for, and select no history. You can also select for 2 weeks, one month and forever.

ReplyDeletethe history is still present there is a big flaw in skype I hv opted "no history" in both privacy and im & sms history options but still it keeps the history intact. most of the time the history is still present. I face the same problem in N72 i use skype lite & I delete the events everytime I sign in but next time I sign n they are still there.....Can Any body Help (Yahoo messenger in that case is better no problems of archiving if you choose not to archive i wont.)
